MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS

Sensei Reneta Music 8th Dan
Sensei Reneta Music began her karate journey in 1991 when her brother said "girls can't do karate", she knew better. She received her first degree black belt in May of 1994
She has been training and teaching karate ever since.
She founded the Music Academy of Karate and Empowerment as a nonprofit 501(C)(3) in 2024 so every person could benefit from karate with no financial boundaries.

Sensei Amber Bogner 5th Dan
I am a mom to three amazing young adults and have a BS in Computer Information Systems, as well as recently earning my 5th degree black belt (2025). My karate journey began during the summer of 2012, a few months after my kids started taking classes. Karate has made me a better person and greatly improved both my self-esteem and confidence. I love not only passing on my karate knowledge to my students but also the life lessons and skills I have learned during my journey.

Sensei Brian Mann 1st
Dan
I began training in martial arts at age 12 and earned my black belt when I was 18. Over the past 22 years, I’ve studied on and off, returning to active training in 2022 with a renewed sense of purpose. Martial arts has played a major role in shaping my confidence and character, and I’m passionate about helping others experience that same growth. As an Instructor at MAKE, I strive to create a welcoming environment where students build confidence, discipline, and a sense of community—both inside and outside the dojo.
The Music Academy Way...
Our expert instructors are also lifelong learners, growing through the act of teaching. Their deep knowledge and ongoing commitment empower students with the skills and confidence to reach their goals.
Learning is a lifelong pursuit
At M.A.K.E., we know learning karate and strength training can be challenging. That’s why we support your journey—inside and outside the classroom—with guidance and encouragement.
Every journey is unique
We prioritize a safe, supportive environment where everyone can grow. Our instructors and facilities are designed to help you thrive while fostering a strong sense of community.
Safety and support for all

WHY "EMPOWERMENT"
At M.A.K.E., empowerment means giving every student the tools to grow stronger in body, mind, and spirit. Whether through karate, strength training, or self-protection, our programs are designed to build confidence and resilience that last far beyond the gym or dojo.
We believe true fitness isn’t just about muscles or belts — it’s about becoming the best version of yourself. Empowerment is what helps kids step boldly into new challenges, adults find balance in busy lives, and every person discover the empowerment they already carry inside.
